Nat Puri Scholarships by London South Bank University

London South Bank University (LSBU) has announced the new Nat Puri Scholarships. They are to be offered through a partnership between alumnus Nat Puri, the University and the Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme who will receive a full scholarship including fees, a grant for living costs and travel expenses. The only condition is that the recipients must be studying in an area, regarded by the Commonwealth Scholarships Scheme, as providing knowledge and skills that are required in the student’s country of origin, such as engineering.

Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program for Mid-Career Professionals
Hubert H. Humphrey fellowships enable Indonesian mid-career professionals to participate in non-degree programs that combine academic coursework at the graduate level with professional development activities in the U.S. for a perioed of one academic year (9 months). Candidates are typically administrators in leadership positions with a minimum of five years of work experience who represent either the public or non-profit private sectors, including Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO’s) who are committed to public service.
Applicants will possess:
•Sarjana (S1) degree with a minimum GPA of 2.75 (4.00 scale)
•A minimum TOEFL score 525.

APEC Scholarship Eligibility – Open to nationals from the following APEC member economies (except Singapore) to pursue a full-time MBA programme at NTU: Australia, Brunei Darussalem, Canada, Chile, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, People’s Republic of China, Peru, Philippines, Republic of Korea, Russia, Thailand, United States, Vietnam. Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents and recipients of other scholarships or bursaries are not eligible to apply.

The Department of Economics at City University, London, is able to offer a three-year studentship to a candidate who wishes to read for a PhD in Economics starting October 2008. The studentship will consist of full remission of fees for three years plus a subsistence grant of £13,500 per year.
