He was the famous leader of the American civil right movement and won the Nobel Peace Prize because of his promotion of peace and equal treatment of different races throughout the world.And it is through getting a black college scholarship.

APEC Scholarship Eligibility – Open to nationals from the following APEC member economies (except Singapore) to pursue a full-time MBA programme at NTU: Australia, Brunei Darussalem, Canada, Chile, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, People’s Republic of China, Peru, Philippines, Republic of Korea, Russia, Thailand, United States, Vietnam. Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents and recipients of other scholarships or bursaries are not eligible to apply.
Quantum – Monthly stipend of S$1,400; book allowance of S$500; tuition fees, health insurance, examination fees and other approved fees, allowances and expenses; cost of one overseas Business Study Mission; cost of travel from home country to Singapore on award of the Scholarship; and cost of travel from Singapore to home country on successful completion of the Masters programme. The Department of Economics at City University, London, is able to offer a three-year studentship to a candidate who wishes to read for a PhD in Economics starting October 2008. The studentship will consist of full remission of fees for three years plus a subsistence grant of £13,500 per year. In return the successful candidate will be expected to provide up to 50 hours per year of undergraduate class teaching and mark 50 undergraduate coursework scripts. Additional teaching and marking may be undertaken subject to approval of the student’s supervisory panel and will be paid at our normal rates.

Cartwright Scholarship Program
In 2004, Dorwin “Doc” and Barbara Cartwright’s passion for education compelled them to establish an endowment through American Indian College Fund. The Cartwright Scholarship Program is open specifically to American Indian men with the hope of increasing the number of male students graduating from tribal colleges. Scholarship recipients are required to continue the Cartwrights’ vision by mentoring other male students in their community encouraging them to attend college. This year, we will award need-based scholarships of $2,000. To be eligible for the Cartwright scholarship you must:
- Be male;
- Have at least a 3.0 grade point average;
- Commit to mentoring other male students locally, encouraging them to attend college;
- Be American Indian or Alaskan Native with proof of enrollment or descendancy;
- Enroll full-time at an eligible tribal college for the 08-09 academic year;
