Finds Higher Education

Saturday 21 June 2008 @ 8:04 pm

My nephew John has just finished his high school this year. He’s graduated with outstanding diploma score. The highest in his class. He wants to go right to college this year also. But he doesn’t know where to go to. Sure he’s been applying to some college, but he hasn’t decided which college or what kind of higher education he wants to have. And unfortunately his school is lack of support too. They let their graduates finds their own college without giving them enough information about it. It’s no wonder how these kids became so confuse to tell where they wan to go next year.

And that goes to my nephew John also. Understand his confusion, I approach him, and asked him what he want to be.

Harvard Will Replace Loans with Grants

Tuesday 20 May 2008 @ 5:50 am

As one of the nation’s most prestigious learning institutions, Harvard University has announced that it will be replacing student loans with scholarship grants to help students with their financial needs.

In a conference last December 2007, the university disclosed its plans of spending up to $22 million for student financial aid. This is to further help their students with the costs of education, especially now that even students from well-off families are beginning to feel the economic pinch.

This expanded financial aid program aims to reach out to students who come from middle class families; students whose family income ranges up to $60,000 already pay nothing for their education at the university.
